It interesting to look back at the past… and Facebook Memories are great tools for seeing what I was doing “back then”.  I found this in my FB memories today from 2/09/2012: “Just getting home from Dan Savage’s presentation at UAA. It was absolutely fabulous! Dan Savage is intelligent, well-spoken, articulate and RIGHT on so many points. How do you disagree with someone who promotes “love bubbles”, where children can grow, live and learn in safety and love? Or disagree with someone who encourages you to choose relationships built on respect? One of his best lines- “Don’t lower your standards, expand your horizons.”

I’m grateful for his candor and appreciate his voice. And I will do my best to remember things I learned from his presentations and his posts in Savage Love, especially the definitions of GGG, DTMFA and the campsite rule.
