If someone asked you, “How was your weekend?” what would be your response? More importantly, how much did your perspective dictate your response?
I am guilty, guilty, GUILTY of blaming a poor attitude on a bad day. The reality is that my bad days are generally (read: MOSTLY) due to a bad attitude and how I CHOSE to respond. Oh sure- we can usually agree that few days are absolutely perfect (what is perfection, anyway?), but more often than not, when I’ve claimed to have had a bad day, it was because I chose to concentrate on what didn’t go the way I wanted, and failed to celebrate the little victories.
My point is this: Focus on the positive. Look on the bright side. Find the silver lining.
Today, if you choose to leave a comment—tell me of a victory (big or small) in your day. Remember, we can change our behavior when we first identify that our attitude is part of the problem and change our mindset.
