Session 10: Acceptance

Can I just start by saying that personal growth can be so HARD? Especially when we fight against it.  We spent this entire, agonizing session talking about acceptance.  In fact, he was relentless in making sure that I understood the purpose of the session:

Acknowledgement that I need to do some “acceptance” work.

I have SEVEN take-aways.  Let’s begin.

When in conflict with someone, stop and ask myself:

 Does it matter who is right or wrong? Why? How much? For how long?

Practice intelligent faith, not naiveté

Understand the process — and there IS a process.

The importance of (positive) reciprocity.

Give AND Receive, reciprocity and balance is healthy
