Courageous is a movie for those that want to take the time to consider the role and impact they have on the lives of others- our children, anyone’s children, friends, colleagues, neighbors- anyone around us.
Courageous is a movie that forces us to consider how often we disregard our values and morals- decision by decision, moment by moment, day by day.
Courageous is the story of five fathers who re-examine their lives and values, and commit to being different- BETTER, by truly embracing their faith and the responsibilities that come with it.
However, we all know it is easy to say the words and make the commitment, however follow through in the face of challenges is a whole different matter.
I do not want to take away from a moment of this movie, so that is all I will say.
It is a movie for the thoughtful and introspective. It is a movie for anyone who wants depth, not just entertainment.
It is not just a movie for fathers and men – it is a story and a reminder for all of us.
