I have an active imagination, but how do I bring what’s in my head out onto paper so that other people can have a good visual representation?  Pixabay!

I spent a fair amount of time google searching free image resources for my websites and blogs, and have have been two websites I have turned to again and again for images.
Pixabay is one.

Pixabay offers free media to use anywhere, including for commercial purposes.

Pixabay offers all whole gamut of images– including photos, illustrations, and vectors.

And while I primarily use the site for its images for my website and e-commerce products, Pixabay doesn’t stop there.

The site also offers wonderful videos, music & sound effects.

Whether you want to include a sound clip as text accompaniment, or need a video to evoke a specific mood, Pixabay just might have it!

And finally, they offer GIFs.

All of this is made possible, absolutely free, as a result of the generous and talented community of creatives who contribute to the website by free sharing their talent for us to use.

I have a few favorite creatives whose work I consistently use in my posts and publications, but I’ll talk about them in future posts, but in the meantime, I highly encourage you to check out Pixabay and explore the many facets of talent magnanimously shared with the world. And should you feel like sharing similar gifts, upload your own media for others to use.
