Totally random question: How many of my friends have ever started a small kitchen fire from heating olive oil on the stove? I’m asking for a friend….
Scott didn’t blink, panic or even seem surprised when I called outside “I accidentally started a fire in the kitchen.” He just came inside and started moving flammable things away from the burning stove top. #lifewithSheli
Epilogue: Everything is A-OK. I put the fire out (always use baking soda for oil fires!!!), there’s no damage (except for my cookware, which is probably ruined forever). And yes, I have working smoke detectors in every room of my house (except the bathrooms).
