June 12, 2022 found us (Andrew, Mikayla and me) at Mercy Hospital, located at 4300 West Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73120.
It was the first of FOUR labyrinth walks that day, and this first walk was in the late morning- around 11:30 am.

The path we all walk has some pain as part of the journey

CanI just say that this was *not* the cheeriest opening revelation? I’m all about personal growth and finding my calling, etc., etc., yada yada yada, but I didn’t necessarily need the ‘life is rough so suck it up, buttercup’ reality check to start my day.

And yet, it was a helpful reminder that pain is part of the process. Life will never be without pain because pain often accompanies growth.

Me: Why is it taking so long?

Answer: “Because you have so little faith; refer to the scripture.”

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Ugh, this was a harsh but true statement.  I am definitely *not* the most patient person in the world. And my faith struggle is as real as anyone else’s – it ebbs and flows, waxes and wanes.

Write it down (Habakkuk 2:2)

The overwhelming thought was this: If you want it, write it down- do not dismiss the desires of your heart as impossibilities; the minute your pen touches paper,  you begin converting your aspirations into reality.

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
