I wish I could remember where and when I first discovered Rainpuk. I *think* it was the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, AK in 2018, but I can’t remember with 100% certainty.
If I recall correctly, I saw this Rainpuk jacket and instantly fell in love with the print/pattern. I tried it on and LOVED it even more… the quality was OUTSTANDING.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right size for me. Hindsight is 20/20, and I should have just spent the money and arranged for a custom order right on the spot, but I didn’t. I still regret it.
I think that once I realized I could custom order a Rainpuk, I decided to find a pattern I loved and then place a custom order to get exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I let myself get overwhelmed when I began to imagine the possibilities and couldn’t decide on just one.
I procrastinated and didn’t place an order. The one thing I did do right was to write down the business information and tuck it away for a rainy day (no pun intended) when I could whittle down my choices and commit to one pattern.
When I think about the wonderfully talented people with small businesses who have only been “discovered” by a very small segment of the population, I knew I had to share Rainpuk’s creations, so that their reach can get a little bit bigger, and your world can be a little bit brighter, even on the rainy days.
You’re welcome!
Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want.
